"My Father was killed in an automobile accident on 3 Dec. 1959. The mortuary recorded the funeral on a reel-to-reel tape and gave it to the family. It has never been listened to in all these years since we had no way of playing the tape. When I lucked out and won some money on the Lottery, I invested it in a computer. One of the first things I vowed to do when I became knowledgeable with the internet was to see if I could find someone who could put the contents of the tape onto a medium which we, the family, could listen to. I am so thankful I was able to locate CVC Productions. I received the CD'S today and have played them 3 times already. I was 21 years old at the time, but I remember very little of the funeral after 42 years. It is so wonderful to be able to listen to so many people from my childhood speaking and singing in such clear and natural voices as though time has never expired. I wish I could have done this before my Mother died in 1988. She never heard the tape even though it was in her possession for 29 years. During my research on reel-to-reel magnetic tapes, I read where they tend to lose their magnetism over time, and I feared the tape would be blank. You have done a magnificent job of reproducing the sound and for that me and my family are most grateful."
