ENTIRE COLLECTION TRANSFERRED TO CD
|
 | Over the
years I have treasured all the things in my life that mean the most to me. One of
these was my "Oldies-But-Goodies" record collection, but as the years went by
they became scratched and worn. I wanted to keep them, but I wouldn't play them any
more. Then I learned about CVC Productions. I was told they could transfer my
old records to a modern method. I had them transferred to CD. Boy, was I
pleased. No more scratches, they are easy to store. I now can travel with them
while driving. Thanks for restoring my oldies. Now they are real
"Goodies".

her entire LP collection transferred: 113 LP's. |

Not bad! Here's my second order.

C.H., Orlando, FL.
Note: Mr. C.H. had 22 LP's transferred. He was so satisfied, his second order was
for 50 LP's. |
 | Thanks so much for the beautiful job you did on my LPs! The Vivaldi IS
breathtaking! I really think it's better than the original. All the LPs I've sent you are
family favourites, 20-30 years old, that we haven't been able to play for about 12 years,
and you can't imagine how wonderful it is to be able to hear them again. I don't have any
more LPs, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone who has LPs they would like
to hear again. The sound quality is great - as I said, better than the originals! Again,
thank you so much.

 | Thanks
for all the CD work - we were able to preserve about 50 hours of my grandfather's sermons
from the 60s and 70s by transferring all of his reel-to-reel recordings to CD. I know
these are things my family will treasure.

78RPM RECORDS TRANSFERRED TO CD
|
 |
I think
you did an outstanding job. It's hard to believe you were able to take forty
year old, paper based records, and get such good sound out of them. I'm sure those
records were not designed to last 40 years, so you obviously had to do a lot of work to
get them to sound that good. If you were ever looking for an example of what your
company could do, this would be it. A superlative effort.

I must say I am very
impressed in how this CD turned out. I was very impressed with how you managed to get the
one record with the crack to sound so good. There was no skip that I detected on the CD,
even though you mention in a previous e-mail that the cracked record skipped in place on
the B side for the first few grooves. Obviously, you and your team worked around it. The
pop from the crack is detectable, but the music tracked correctly. It all sounds great!

Thank you Chris! I
gave CVC Productions the impossible task of restoring and transfering three 78 records,
made in l939, of my parents at a New Year's Eve party. They were almost unplayable and one
of the records was warped very badly. CVC was able to retrieve the sound to an
understandable level on the warped record and the other two records probably to the
original sound. I am so grateful -- my children have never seen or heard their
grandparents -- until now. Great job Chris!

I was very pleased
with the results. I understand that the quality of what I sent you was quite poor
and the CDs you returned represent an amazing improvement indeed. The crackling and
static were gone! I appreciate your significant extra effort in producing it.
I sent my Mom a copy. She was thoroughly pleased. She was even able to hear
things that she hadn't heard before on the originals (on one track, before singing, her
father says "Hi Mom").

I
wanted to thank you for the wonderful work that you did on the 5 home-recorded 78
records that I sent you. These were made by my Grandfather in the late 1940's and 1950's.
No one in the family had heard them in almost 50 years. They varied in what shape they
were in, and we really thought that they would not be playable after so many years. We
were all so happy to hear them, and the restoration work that you did made them sound
fantastic! We had them done as a surprise for my Mother, who will be 80 this year. You can
just imagine how thrilled she was to hear her Mother and Father's speaking voices and her
Father's singing voice after so many years. We are definitely a happy customer. Thank you,
very much, for your effort!

I recently sent you a
recording found in my parent's belongings after their deaths that
was dated 1945. The recording was made in New York City by a 19 year old young man (my
father) to send to his sweetheart (my mother) before he was shipped overseas to Okinawa
during world war II. He was in Okinawa for two years (one year during the battles for
Okinawa and another year as part of the occupational forces) during which time my mother
only had this recording of his voice to play during her times of loneliness. I did not
know what was on the recording but wanted to preserve same as part of my family history.
To say that I am thrilled with your restoration
has to be the understatement of the century! Not only did you preserve the voice of my
best friend (my dad) but you preserved for my family a most sentimental poem my father
wrote and read to my mother on this recording, not knowing if he would ever see her again.
He wrote several poems for my mother and grandmother during the war, but after the war, he
never again wrote any poetry.
The recording was in very poor shape and was
recorded on a very cheap celluloid appearing material that the gem razorblade company
apparently provided for the men being shipped overseas to send to their sweethearts.
You restored and preserved for my family a voice from the past, almost 55 years ago, that
will be cherished and passed down from generation to generation.
I must also thank Cristian Coban for a most
professional job demeanor and for constant e-mails advising me of the progress with my one
recording as though this single compact disc were the most important job that your company
has ever done. I especially was touched by the e-mail after hurricane Floyd, reassuring me
that my original recording was still safe in your hands. My experience with your company
has been most rewarding and I have never dealt with a company with such superior customer
service. I would highly recommend your company to anyone needing restoration services and
intend to do so. Thank you for a most pleasant experience.

I was visiting my
mother this last weekend. Mom is 90 and hasn't heard her brother's voice for years. My
brother and sister had never heard Uncle Bob. I took the opportunity to play the CD. All
of them commented that they were surprised that I could get the records transferred to a
CD. In addition, the clarity was very good. I expected to hear the characteristic scratch
rhythm of the 78's but was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the usual background
noise was not audible. So thanks to your efforts, our family was reacquainted with the
voice of my Uncle Bob. Thank you for a job well done.

Thanks for transferring my wife's treasured childhood 12 sided 78 rpm album to CD and cassette tape. The quality is outstanding. It is better than I remember these old records sounding. I am also pleased with the way the CD is labelled and reproduction of the original album cover art work on the CD box. We had almost given up ever hearing this version of Alice in Wonderland again as I no longer have a 78 rpm turntable. This is going to be a birthday present to my wife. She will go nuts. We can now share this memory with our grandchildren. I only wish I had saved more of these type irreplacable albums for transfer to CD. Thanks again.

Thank you for the nice CDs; they will be preserved for years in my granddaughter's cedar chest that I just bought for her. Too bad she will never know her granddad but she WILL hear his voice! (Mine also - when I could sing!) Thank you!

8-TRACK TAPES TRANSFERRED TO CD

Recently,
I had an 8-track recording of traditional Korean court music restored and transferred
to CD by you folks -- and I was truly amazed at how much your CD transfer enhanced (and
actually improved on) the 8-track recorded performance of the small ensemble: the old
analog hiss of the original tape was gone; crisp, clear and resonant contrapuntal
vocalizations reined throughout; and the vibrance of the accompanying classical Korean
string, percussion and wind instruments was actually recaptured with a fidelity I hadn't
been able to experience since first hearing these same performers LIVE in Seoul in 1976! I
could hardly believe my ears! Thanks for bringing back this priceless memory from my
student days overseas in such a vivid and rich way!

Got
the CDs today, thanks. Man, you did an awesome job! They sound great, and the
packaging is excellent! Really nice work. The quality is indeed top notch! I'm sure
any customers will be thrilled with your work. I'll be sure to forward any and all
requests for 8track duplicating your way.

Thanks!!
You performed a great job -- I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the sound and
amazed at your fast turn-around time on it. I never thought I'd ever hear those sounds
recorded over 20 years ago on an 8-track tape. Not only have you restored and rerecorded
an obsolete tape, but you've also restored some wonderful memories from my college days 20
years ago. All in all, you did a fantastic job!!

Great
job on the conversion. The 8-track tape I sent you had to be 30 years old and I never
thought it could be salvaged. The quality of the sound is better than on the original!
Thanks again.

I have
a gigantic smile on my face having just listened to the CD you made for me. With the
source material being an 8-track, there was no telling how the finished product would turn
out. But the sound is clear and sharp, both high end and low end come across beautifully
and the stereo separation is perfect. Without the original masters tapes from which to
remaster, this is the best it will be...and it's great. Thanks for doing a terrific job.
You can be sure I'll use you again soon!

CVC
productions was a perfect match for our special need for audio production. We had some
old recordings that we needed to rescue and put in the most modern formats available, with
complete sound enhancement. CVC was extremely competent in their work and fair in their
dealings with us. The audio CD's sound great. I don't know how we would ever have been
able to accomplish our project any other way, especially at such a high level of quality.
Thanks, CVC!

I cannot express my joy when I finally received my CD's. I had wanted to be able to hear this music for so long. I had to purchase this album on E-bay, wait for it to come from California, then ship it to Florida and wait some more. When I got my CD back I listened to it over and over. Thank you so much. You have brought back a part of my childhood.

Just a note to say GREAT JOB putting my 2 lp's on cd. Both were old and both had some serious damage. I hardly even notice the parts where the damage was. Neither record was replaceable, and I figured it was hopeless; but you made them both enjoyable again. I can't thank you enough. Again, GREAT JOB

 | Oh my goodness! I am so very pleased with the CD you made me from my old Jose Melis LP album. I had lost hope of ever listening to these songs again, since apparently the album has never been made into a CD, and I don't have a turntable anymore. I wasn't even sure if the LP was in good enough condition to work with, (I think it's about 30 years old), but the sound quality is great! Thanks very much!

Your service has brought back wonderful Christmas memories for my family . My mom played this one particular Christmas lp since we were toddlers. When I was in High School (13 years ago) I taped the lp to a cassette for my mother because the record was so scratched and warped. Over the years the cassette tape also became distorted. My mom, myself, and my two sisters have been searching for the Christmas album for two years. While searching on the Internet, I came across your company. My husband talked me out of sending you the album last year. He said there would be no way you could record the album without all of the scratches and distortions. Finally this Christmas, I decided to give your company a chance. I am so glad that I did. My mom, my sisters, and I cried the night that we listened to the CD for the first time after receiving it from you. I can not thank you enough.

I am very impressed with the job you have done. Your work as well as your service is very professional. Last week I called and was told it would be another 5 days before my cd would be done, I was kind of upset for the fact it was a christmas present I was having done for my father. Not only did you put a rush on the job at no charge, you got it to me with plenty of time before Christmas and your work was awesome. Thank you so much, I wish there were more companies who did business like you. Happy Holidays! Regards,
