REEL-TO-REELS TRANSFERRED TO CD

bullet

You recently transferred several reel-to-reel tapes for me to CD. I didn't request your restoration service, as the tapes were professional quality and I thought they'd sound pretty good just as they were. Well, they sound wonderful on CD -- truly better than I expected. You placed them in exactly the order that I requested. You took care in not cutting off the music at the end of a cut until it was completely over. And your service was extraordinarily fast. I think the total turnaround time was just over a week. And CD's and tapes arrived back in perfect condition. Amazing. I'm sure I'll send some more tapes to you in future for transfer. Thanks for the great service.

I truly cannot thank you enough for bringing the voice of my father-in-law back to life. We had carefully treasured the old reel-to-reel tapes sent from my husband's father to the family while he was serving in the Vietnam War. Our old machine didn't work anymore and the tapes were becoming very brittle. We feared losing this piece of history forever. It was shear luck that brought me to your website to find your services. That was only a month ago and I have already received the CD copy of the "letters". I can't wait to share this gift with my husband for Christmas. My son will never have the chance to meet his grandfather in person, but he will be able to hear an important part of the family's history thanks to your great work. Thanks for making it possible! My thanks are truly heartfelt.

Thank you for converting my reel tape to CD. The tape was from 1964 and surprisingly, the sound was great. Sincerely,

A few years ago, my mother gave me some reel-to-reel tapes that her and my father exchanged back in 1967 while he was serving in Viet Nam as an officer in the Marine Corps. He died in 1972 when I was 8 years old. Neither my mother or I have a RtoR player so we weren't sure if the 30+ year old tapes were salvagable. I sent them into you and I just received my order a few days ago and I'm very pleased! 2 out of the 3 tapes sounded like they were recorded yesterday! The third tape had some damage but still had some valuable content. This is the first time I have really heard my father's voice and I must say it was a wonderful, emotional experience. There also was the added bonus of my mother's voice as a young woman and my voice at 2-/12 years old that my wife just loved! I know my mother and brother will love these CD's as much as I do, and now we have them preserved forever. Thanks to you all for your great service!

I would like to commend you on the very quick, excellent service in transferring my reel-to-reel tape to a CD. The price was reasonable and the quality of the CD was great. I am certainly enjoying my "Memories" from 1955. Thank you.

Thanks so much for converting my 42-year old Bar Mitzvah audio-tape to CDs. For such a solemn occasion, I couldn't stop laughing! Hearing my high-pitched, Texas-twanged Hebrew is such a treat; I would never have recognized that the boy on that tape is me. Surely my parents and sons will get a kick out of hearing this voice from my past.

I've used LP2CD a few times now and have always been very happy with the results. This last time magic was performed. A 30+ years old tape of a Live Illusion Concert was submitted and came back with much of the hiss, beeps & bops taken out. Also some distracting hum was eliminated. Holy Smokes, this CD is so very playable now. Thank you, LP2CD, for taking care of the original tapes and for doing an outstanding job.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I sat and cried, listening to my new CD. I thought I'd never again hear the music my Mom played for me as a child. A thousand times, THANK YOU!

Thanks for the great job you did transferring my family's reel-to-reel tape from 37 years ago! The audio quality was excellent. I've just sent our other 4 tapes to be similarly transferred.

Just to say that you've done an incredible Job!!!. I really want to thank Dr. Cristian Coban for his GREAT WORK. The restoration of the bird's song that was mixed so deeply with terrible background noise which included loud humming, cracks and other matter, was truly amazing!. This song was recorded from a 1950's radio so you can imagine how the original sounded. Once again congratulations on a wonderful job! Yours truly,

I am delighted to have these old 78's from my childhood now preserved in listenable form on a modern sound medium. I would not have thought it possible to do that at such an affordable price! Thanks too for the "preservation" copies. I am very satisfied with your work, and I am especially impressed with the promptness of your service.
[1]                                                           D.G., Ridgecrest, CA

We are impressed with the quality of the CD. Two completely broken records, and only faint echoes of the breaks can be heard. That you were able to transfer anything from those two records is remarkable. The other old records (one from Germany circa 1930 and an Al Jolson from about the same period) sound like the artists are in the room with us. Thanks so much. We will send another collection as soon as we can decide which to transfer first. Kind regards,

My daddy died in 1957. His recordings have not been heard until now. Thank you for the excellent work you did in bringing such joy to my whole family.

I was very excited about your website, because it allows me to give my Father a very special Xmas gift that will touch his heart. It will be so great when he hears his own voice on a CD. It wouldn't surprise me if we popped that CD in and started our own family Karaoke on Christmas morning. Thanks for the opportunity.

I enjoyed the CD. The music sounded so crisp and alive. The 78 that was really warped, you could hardly tell on the CD. Thanks for the quality, I have heard some of these songs on MCA releases and the job that you have done has surpasses the major studios. The surface noise was minimal. Thank you.
[5]                                                           E.K., Lyman, SC

bullet

I just want to say how much I have enjoyed the CDs you made off my tapes of my 78's. The surface noise is negligible on most of the tracks. The vocals are much clearer. You did a great job on restoring the high frequency on all tracks. The two songs with Bing Crosby is from an extremely warped record, you can hardly hear the distortion on the CDs. I have been listening to them nonstop. I intend to restore the rest of my collection with you. I highly recommend your services.

I want you to know I am so very pleased with the CD I received today. To hear my sister's singing voice after many years was wonderful. I know it had to be a very difficult job as the home recordings made in 1947 I sent were in such bad shape. We couldn't even hear them anymore on a 78 record player. She is in very ill health and I called her right away so she could hear it over the phone. She had stopped singing many years ago, and so my children had never heard their aunt sing. I admit I was hesitant at first to send the recordings away , but am so glad I took the chance. You were always so helpful the few times I called. I kept up on the progress on the computer. Thanks you so very much. You have made me very happy!

Dear Mr. Coban, I wanted to send a note of thanks to you and your organization for being able to produce a quality product of musical memories from four (4) 78s, of which there was only one record produced of each! Having exhausted all other avenues of producing the CD on my own, I was fortunate to discover your website on the Internet. Thanks for preserving these memorable moments of song on CD, and for safely returning the 78s to me in a timely manner. Respectfully,
[10]                                                           K.K., FL

I am very happy with the how my CDs turned out. I sent you an old LP with quite a bit of sentimental value, and I have to confess that I was a little worried, but it came back just fine and the CDs sound great. Many thanks.

I have just spent the last hour listening to the CD your company made from my Original version of "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" performed at the Village Gate in New York City in 1968. I am amazed !! You have captured the gritty tones of Mort Shuman and the bell like quality of Elly Stone's remarkable voice. Even the scratches and skips that were in the record are hardly noticeable. Thank you for bringing this show back to life for me. I am now sending you another album to record on CD. Sincerely,

Just got my first order from you today. So far I have only heard it on a boombox but it sounds great. Since the records were in very good shape, it's hard to tell just what the sound restoration actually did, but it does sound very good. I expect to use your services again and will suggest you to my friends. Thanks very much,

Just got my 3 Nantucket CDs; they are great!! I hope you made a copy for yourself. After literally years of looking for the albums and then getting them on to compact disc, i found lp2cd.com and my problems were solved. Thanks! Satisfied Customer,

I received my order last week and I am thrilled with the results. I am looking very much forward to getting the two Marais and Miranda CDs to my father. He has not heard his long cherished music in over 12 years. Being disabled, music is one of the few pleasures he can still enjoy. There is no doubt that you will be seeing more LPs from myself and my father for conversion. I am delighted to have found your service. Thank you.

Thank you, thank you! Consider the 8-track from which you had to work, the job you did restoring to CD was wonderful!!! I had searched for CD's for this particular artist for some time, and did not have any luck. How pleased I was to find a service such as yours. I'll be sending the other 8-tracks soon.

Converting my 8- track to CD was quite an accomplishment. I was impressed! The sound quality is amazing! Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. All future format conversions will be handled by you and your professional staff. Thank You & Best wishes,

I had an old 8 track that you converted to CD for me. I LOVE IT. I was so afraid you wouldn't be able to do it because the 8 track was quite old and I hadn't played it in years and years. But the CD came out great. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. The group was some friends of ours from years ago that played together locally in a band. But they broke up and went their separate ways. Without this CD, we'd never be able to hear our friends again, or be able to relive those great memories. Thanks so much. Sincerely,

You recently transferred a very sentimental 8-track recording that my family and I recorded in 1978 to CD and I wanted to thank you for a job well done. I am very happy with the quality and it was nice to do business with a company that was professional. It's rare to find good customer service anymore. Thanks again.

Hi, I just wanted to drop you a belated line that I was very pleased with the conversion you completed for me back in November (Inv. 111403). The conversion was from 8-track to CD and it turned out quite nicely. Thanks.

I'm crying tears of joy. I've been holding onto a broken 8-track recording from my childhood. I knew one day I'd be able to have it fixed, but I almost gave up hope. Not only did you do a fantastic job fixing my 8-track, but the transfer to CD was marvelous. I never thought I'd be able to listen to my childhood memories again. The work you did for me is priceless. I am so grateful I found you. Thank you very much, this meant the world to me.

i want to take this opportunityto tell you that the 8-track contained my baby brother who is now in his 30's singing church songs at age 4 which he did not even know the words to and i had a blast listening to him all over again. as a matter of fact he is going to be with us this weekend as he lives in the south and i live in the north and i will enjoy playing this cd for him. we will have a great time. thanks again.

I just heard my father's voice 11 years after he passed away. I cannot express my joy enough. He read poems that he wrote and sang his favorite hymn. Your restoration and transfer of an old 8-track made that possible. Thank you is not enough.

Cristian:The CD arrived in perfect condition on Friday of last week. The package itself was in remarkable condition considering it came via mail.Canada Post usually doesn't give a rats ass on what the package resembles when we receive it.When I sent the 8-Track tape,I wasn't sure if it was possible to repair and restore it let alone copy it to a CD.Well,I was certainly surprised and very impressed. It looks like new.I finally played the CD the other day and was also impressed with the quality of the recording even though it came from a mangled 8-Track tape...A job well done.I would certainly recommend your company to other people who need such work done. Thanks again...
