"I just received my CD and LP back from you, and felt moved to respond with a short note. In life, in the absence of experience, you make many decisions based on faith alone. This certainly was the case in this situation; I had no experience in dealing with you and your firm, nor did any of my audiophile friends. Indeed, none of us had any experience with anyone in the business of transferring LPs to CD. Please feel free to share with whomever my joy and satisfaction with the results of your efforts. I sent you an LP that was no less than 38 years old; you sent me a CD that sounded as if it had just been recorded on the most modern equipment. While the cost involved requires some discretion, I would recommend your firm in a heartbeat, indeed. Thanks you so very much."

Eliminate Pause Between Sides

By default, for LaserDisc transfers we use automated side changing (screen goes black for a few seconds) while the sides are changed. To have this pause removed, select:

  • Eliminate 1 pause at side change
    • The several second pause will be eliminated. If the video ends (or begins) abruptly upon side change, it will be the same on the DVD. If the video goes abruptly to a frame like: "End Side 1" (or begins with a frame: "Side 2"), this may be captured on the DVD. The several second pause at side change is eliminated, not the material recorded on the LaserDisc.

If submitting two LaserDiscs for transfer to one DVD, you may also select:

  • Eliminate 2 pauses at side 1-2 & 3-4 change
    • Combined length of all sides must fit the DVD transfer length you have selected
