Hello! I am Cristian Coban. I started CVC Productions in 1990. I am glad you are visiting us and are interested in finding about our company. First, a bit about myself: my musical career started long before graduating College. As early as High School, and then on to College, I was fortunate to win every student competition (in composition) I ever entered. Concerts and recitals followed, and more International competitions won. |
| At Michigan State University I was the Director of the Contemporary Music Ensemble and earned my Ph.D. in 1983. Then, on to Post-Graduate work (in Paris, France). Tours and concerts (in the US, Europe and Asia) followed. I took some time off from composing to serve in the US Navy (1985-1990). When I returned to civilian life, I formed CVC Productions. |

Here are some milestones in the development of CVC Productions:
- Starting with the Original Music operation, we expanded to include scoring for Motion Picture, Television and stage.
- In 1991 Turbo Music™ was formed (it is currently our Audio Production and Original Music division).
- In 1994 we expanded again, and included Video Post-Production services (Video Editing, 3D Animation, Computer Graphics) and Video Production.
- In 1998 we added the consumer division, and a new service: Audio Restoration and Transfer to CD service. Our LP2CD web site was launched.
- In 2000 we added our Extreme Quality Conversions division (AVConvert) that includes Quadraphonic conversions to DTS and Dolby Digital.
- In 2001 we expanded again to offer Video Conversion Services for consumers.
- From 2001 to 2012 we continuously expanded our capabilities to cover more and more audio and video formats. We worked tirelessly at improving our technical capabilities and the quality of our Audio and Video work.
- In 2012 we introduced our "Next Generation" audio restoration capabilities, for jaw-dropping results.
- In 2012 we introduced our high end "audiophile's dream" LP conversion suite, exclusively for use of our AVConvert division customers.
- In 2012 we added a CD and DVD Duplication service, primarily for our Transfers and Restorations customers.
- In 2012 we launched the completely redesigned LP2CD web site, with optimized ordering and more bold, industry-leading quantity volume discounts.
- In 2020 we reached over 20,000 orders processed.
- In 2022, after two years of internal development, we introduced our state-of-the-art (and proprietary) Video Enhancement Restoration Upscale to 4K UHD service.

Throughout the years we have been copied (down to the page, letter and price item) by hundreds of sites that all come and go. We are still here. What others can not copy from us is the quality of our work. Hundreds of loyal customers (from all corners of the globe) have stayed with us from their first order, through economic ups and downs, recessions and a pandemic. While others failed, our loyal customers supported us. We are still here today, better than ever.
