People who are not audio professionals (or who do not have sensitive ears or sensitive playback equipment) may not hear much of a change (although the change is there, is evident for trained ears and is effective). As audio professionals, we are trained to hear things that most other people can not hear (but which ultimately make the difference between GOOD audio and BAD audio).
