Studio and personnel time are expensive. In an ideal world, a Producer would have the run of the studio for an unlimited amount of time, until that very last note is perfect. In the real world, the clock keeps ticking and when the paid for studio time is up, the next job rolls in. For more “perfection”, the producer must book another session.
