CD Cover (client supplied materials for scanning)

• If you want us to scan the original record or jacket, or if you supply us with a picture (an actual picture or a CD with the graphic file to use), you may order a Color Cover and Track List.
• If you would like a printed track list, please submit a document we can scan (or a text document we can copy and paste).
• Please remember: "Bigger is Better". Large pictures (or graphic files) that we reduce look MUCH better than small pictures (or graphic files) that we have to enlarge. 

1 to 5 Extra CDs with Cover

• If you ordered the Color Cover and Track List, you may order 1 to 5 Extra CDs with Cover.

Tape Pancake on NAB hub only (flanges needed)

• A "Tape Pancake" is a tape on a hub (core) only, without flanges and not inside a reel
• If you are submitting a tape pancake, please select Mount flanges to NAB hub.

Tape Baking

• Some tapes exhibit "Sticky Shed Syndrome" and need to be "baked".
• You do not need to select this option as we will perform "Tape Baking" only IF STRICTLY NECESSARY in order to get the transfer done.
• If you prefer that we do not perform "Tape Baking", you must provide clear written instructions in the "Additional Information" box of the Checkout page (such as NO TAPE BAKING PLEASE). Placing the order confirms acceptance of our terms and releases us of any liability.
• "Baking" a tape is a process that may weaken the tape or the ferric oxide binding.  Please note that we will NOT ACCEPT to work on a tape that was previously "baked".  If your tape was previously "baked", please DO NOT place the order and DO NOT send the tape to us for processing.

Extra Tracks over 18 (first 18 tracks are free)

• We include in the base price of our transfers the first 18 tracks (25 tracks for Double LP Albums).
• Some recordings are highly segmented and will result in more than 18 tracks per CD. We will be happy to cut into as many tracks as needed, but we charge for Extra Tracks over 18.
• If you have a highly segmented recording (or a very long recording) that you know will result in more than 18 tracks and you DO NOT care for all those tracks, let us know (there is a space for Instructions on the Checkout page) and we will stop at 18 (so you do not incur extra charges). If you do not tell us to stop at 18 tracks, we will cut in tracks as needed and then apply the charges for Extra Tracks. 

Tape Splices Needed

• Some tapes break on playback; old splices may separate and require re-splicing
• You do not need to select Tape Splices Needed you are not aware that the tape needs splicing.  We will deal with the problem if needed, perform necessary work and charge for work performed.

Tape Recorded with Speed Changes

• You do not need to select Speed Changes you are not aware that the tape has speed changes in it.  We will deal with the problem if needed, perform necessary work and charge for work performed.

Tape Segment Plays Backwards

• You do not need to select Tape Segment Plays Backwards you are not aware that the tape has segments that play backwards.  We will deal with the problem if needed, perform necessary work and charge for work performed.

Insurance (delivery signature required by USPS)

• Insurance may be used for all shipping services.
• For US Postal Service, $100 insurance and up is an inexpensive way of making sure that the Post Office treats your package with extra care and will require signature on delivery. 
• Insurance is inexpensive and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
