  1. For your information, ‘Jeepers Creepers’ and ‘Mutiny in the Nursery’ have vocal and trombone solo by Jack Teagarden. He did play in Paul Whiteman’s orchestra at one time.

  3. Jeepers Creepers is from the 1938 movie “Going Places” starring Ronald Reagan, Dick Powell, with Anita Louise, Eddie “Rochester” Anderson and Louis Armstrong. Dorothy and Vivian Dandridge (The Dandridge Sisters) Etta Jones and Ward Bond appeared in the movie, but not the credits.
    It was also used in the 2001horror movie “Jeepers Creepers” starring a cast of people you probably never heard of before or since.
    The orginal recording, by Paul Whiteman Orchestra with the Four Moderaires and Jack Teagarden, was released on Decca 2222 A on December 8, 1938
    The song was written by Harry Warren (music) and Johnny Mercer (lyrics)
