  1. H.E. is correct in pointing out Jack Teagarden as the vocalist / trombonist (who else could it have been?) on this delightful 1938 recording. The vocal group are the Modernaires who, prior to joining Glenn Miller, sang with Whiteman (after debuting with Charlie Barnet in 1936).
    What a pity not more of Whiteman’s fine 1930 recordings have been re-issued on CD. Or could someone prove me wrong?
